An abundant crowd of patients were thrilled to not only hear Wilson’s platinum hit single “Heart Like a Truck” in person but to meet her spunky self. Lainey graciously took her time with each patient and their families by creating personalized videos, taking selfies, and signing autographs.

Wilson acknowledged the patient’s questions ranging from, “What is one food that you could eat for the rest of your life?” to “What is the weirdest name you’ve named a pet?”. Apart from the various questions asked by patients, Wilson shared personal stories that lit up smiles on each patient's face.

She emphasized to the audience, “If you have a gift, use it for good! During a round of interviews conducted by several patients, Lainey shared her love for pizza, her Frenchie “Hippie Mae”, the LSU Tigers, trucks, crawfish and you can’t forget, bell bottoms!
