Brett Eldredge brings Smiles and Songs to Seacrest Studios in Nashville!

By Savannah Stewart, Lipscomb University

Country star, Brett Eldredge, popped in to Seacrest Studios in Nashville to visit his friends at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt!  He sat down at the microphone next to our friends Jayden and Sophie to hang out and sing some songs.  Eldredge sang us “Long Way” off of his new album.  The music video for the song had just been released days before – and of course we got the scoop on what making a music video is like!  Brett also showed off some of his favorite dance moves – “The Eldredge” is “all in the shoulders!”

A game of “Never Have I Ever” was also necessary.  A few secrets came out from Eldredge along the way! He let us know that he has gone to the Principal’s office multiple times and loves his dog a lot – even enough to have tried a dog treat to see what his dog had been eating!

Brett took pictures with all of his Seacrest Studios fans, sang a couple chorus’ with aspiring young artists, and did a few model poses with patients.  We loved our time with Brett Eldredge and look forward to his next visit!

Brett Eldredge Spreads Smiles at Seacrest Studios in Dallas

Eight-year-old Brylie knew she would get to see country superstar Brett Eldredge when he came to Texas on tour, but it went a little different than she planned. See, Brylie and her family had tickets to see Brett and his pals in concert in Dallas but the tour date came when she was hospitalized for a lengthy stay and couldn’t make it out to the concert.

But that’s where the Seacrest Studios at Children’s Medical Center Dallas works its magic. Since the children who are hospitalized can’t make it out to the concert, we bring the concert and events to them, right there in the hospital. So instead of being one in a crowd of thousands, Brylie and other patients at Children’s Health got the VIP fan treatment with Brett Eldredge!

Brylie, along with Zoe, Jaci, Sarah and others got to interview Brett and ask him questions about his music career, his favorite color and what he likes to do with his dog, Edgar. Brett posed for pics and selfies with everyone who came down to see him, and even held one of his littlest fans, 3-month old Paisley.

Before the visit wrapped up, Brett pulled out his guitar and serenaded Seacrest Studios and all those watching on TV from their hospital rooms with his country hit, “Wanna Be That Song.”

Check out the video to watch the fun and laughter with Brett!

Thank you, Brett Eldredge, for making time to hang out in Seacrest Studios! You spread so many smiles, which is something you’re good at! We know you want to come back, “Don’t Ya”? But don’t take “The Long Way” to get back here because when we hear the “Beat of the Music” it makes us “Wanna Be That Song” and I may “Lose My Mind” as if I “Haven’t Met You” when really you will always be our “Superhero” and “The Reason” we want to “Bring You Back.” We know there’s “No Stopping You!”

Brett Eldredge Duets With Patient At Seacrest Studios

While on a tour stop in Charlotte, CMA’s 2014 New Artist of the Year, and friend to Seacrest Studios, Brett Eldredge, made a special visit to Levine Children’s Hospital bringing Beat of the Music with him.

This country crooner is no stranger to Seacrest Studios, or the Queen City!  Admitting he is a NASCAR fan, Brett told a packed studio about doing a ride-along in a real racecar that clocked 110 mph!

Patients asked Brett about his past as a DJ (he used to DJ weddings), and Brett gave a sample opening for his appearance.  Children wanted to know if Brett could be a Disney character, who would he be? (He said Simba).  Big laughs erupted when Brett was asked if he could be a Jonas Brother OR Justin Bieber’s security guard, which one would he be?  You’ll have to see the video for that funny answer.

As his tour with Darius Rucker winds down, Brett is already gearing up for his next gig as a judge for the approaching Miss America Pageant. This award-winning star said that, if you had told him years ago that he would be a Miss America judge, he would not have believed it!

Brett spoke about his humble beginnings in the music industry, and his climb to playing full stadiums now.

Topping off a great visit, Brett encouraged patients at LCH by serenading them with his hit song, Beat of the Music, saying it is perfect to listen to when you’re not feeling well.

Thank you, Brett Eldredge, for being such a fantastic supporter of Seacrest Studios! We loved having you visit, and can’t wait to have you back in the Carolinas!

Brett Eldredge Makes His Second Visit To Seacrest Studios In Cincinnati

Recap By Maryann Williams, Seacrest Studios Intern

Seacrest Studios in Cincinnati was so excited to welcome back Brett Eldredge for his second visit to Cincinnati Children’s.

We kicked his visit off with an interview with Zach Wells, media specialist, and patients asking Brett questions about his career and the recent award he received (“Best New Artist” from the Country Music Awards in Nashville!) Brett also performed one of his hit songs “Mean To Me” that, of course, ended with a very loud applause from the studio audience.

Brett took the time to personally greet every visitor while signing autographs and posing for photos.  Brett also signed photos that we took to patients who weren’t feeling well enough to come down.  We ended a great session with Brett with a popular studio game called “What’s Behind Me?”  Placed in front of the studio green screen, Brett had no idea what animals were behind him, but with the help of clues from patients, Brett was able to guess which animal was behind him. During the game a chicken appeared and a patient gave the clue that there is a dance named after this animal.  Brett, with his outgoing personality, decided to entertain the patients by doing the chicken dance!

UPDATE: Seacrest Studios Intern, Whitney Osborne, put together the video below showcasing patient questions for Brett Eldredge during his visit. Thanks Whitney!

It was a ball to have Brett in the studio. The patients, families and staff enjoy every bit of his time spent on WKID Channel 33.

Brett Eldredge Makes A Special Visit To Seacrest Studios In Cincinnati

Seacrest Studios in Cincinnati was thrilled to welcome country singer Brett Eldredge! Patients sat down with Brett and asked him many fun questions, including how he celebrates achievements (like having his songs on the charts!) His answer…shark diving and skydiving!  “I tell you what, when they open the door of that airplane and it’s time to jump, that’s when it gets real!” Brett said.

Brett brought his guitar along and rocked the airwaves with a live performance of his song “Beat of the Music”.  Not only were we impressed by Brett’s great singing voice, but also by his spot-on imitations of his two musical heroes growing up (Ray Charles and Frank Sinatra),

A native of Illinois, Brett opened the door for some good-natured joking from our patients when he talked about his love for the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs. “C’mon Brett!  The Cubs haven’t won the World Series in 106 years!” one of our patients said.  Everyone went back to their rooms with an autograph, a smile, and memories of a great visit from country music star Brett Eldredge!  Many thanks, Brett for a super fun visit.
