Actor Brandon Spink Visits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta!

Actor Brandon Spink caused quite a stir among young female patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta when, on his way to an audition, made a pit stop at Seacrest Studios! At just 13, Brandon has already built an impressive resume’ having starred in notable films, Miracles From Heaven, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Mother’s Day as well as recurring TV roles In NBC’s Game of Silence, ABC’s Once Upon A Time, and he is currently staring in EPIX’s Berlin Station!

With more roles in the works, it’s a wonder this talented guy has any time for middle school or his other passion, baseball!  Thank you Brandon Spink for spending one-on-one time with every single patient… and since you’re a Georgia boy, we hope you’ll be back to visit again SOON!

Our Founder, Ryan Seacrest Returns to His Hometown of Atlanta!

Ryan Seacrest returned to his hometown of Atlanta to visit patients and fans at his very first Seacrest Studio – where his dream of creating an uplifting environment and contributing in some small way to the healing process for patients who could be going through a difficult time – became a reality through his Ryan Seacrest Foundation in 2010. And it was great to have him back!

Patients were eager to tell Ryan all the things they love to do in the studio, from singing and playing games to hanging out with the interns and interviewing celebrities. Excited to take a crack at interviewing one of the best “interviewers” himself, patients took turns with hard-hitting questions.  Ryan especially enjoyed the one asking him which he loved more, “being on radio or being on TV?”  Hmmm, we’ll leave you pondering his answer! Lots of pictures, hugs and autographs followed the Q&A session. Then it was back to New York City and  Live With Kelly & Ryan, where he shared a wonderful video of his visit with us!  Thanks so much Ryan—we love you!

Taylor Grey Makes a Special Visit to Children’s ATL

It’s not hard to fall in love with singer songwriter Taylor Grey, who made a special stop in Seacrest Studios at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta recently. She is as kind as she is beautiful and as talented as she is engaging.  Taylor started writing songs and performing at a very young age and now, at 20, she’s seeing her hard work pay off with last year’s release of her debut album, Space Case.

Hardly a “space case” herself, the Stanford junior explained how her childhood dream of becoming an astronaut influenced her album’s title. Grey performed two songs for patients (one of which she admitted she never performs live!) – what a treat! And before heading out, she made a detour to spend time with a fan who couldn’t make it to the studio. Taylor GREY, you have a heart of GOLD.  Come back anytime!
