Cole Swindell Welcomed Back to Seacrest Studios, Dallas

After his first visit to Seacrest Studios in Dallas Cole Swindell said, “I’ll see ya later,” and the country singer made good on that promise and came back to visit his friends at Children’s Health!

Many young fans packed the studio to welcome Cole back to Seacrest Studios. Cole shared what he’s been up to since the last time he visited and why it’s so good to be back in Texas. He also got to know some new friends, who gave him some restaurant recommendations for his time in Texas.

Cole was excited to perform for the crowd and even let the kids request the songs. Jacob wanted to hear “Flatliner” so Cole and his buddies jammed to that one! Kevin asked to hear “Middle of a Memory,” so Cole played that one, too! We also sang along to “Let Me See Ya Girl.” It was a mini concert exclusively for the kids in Seacrest Studios and those watching on tv from their rooms. What an experience!

Thank you, Cole and friends, for coming back to Seacrest Studios! We’re cheering you on and can’t wait to see you again soon!

Country singer Michael Ray stopped by Seacrest Studios at Boston Children’s Hospital during his tour! Michael shared stories of his lifelong interest in music, including playing in a band in high school. He also talked about what he’d be doing if he wasn’t a musician, which was following in his family’s footsteps and being a first responder!

Patient Ty asked Michael some fun “Would You Rather” questions, and Michael made the bold claim that he’d rather rake leaves than shovel snow! Afterwards, fellow patient Catherine jumped in with some questions of her own, where we learned that Michael’s favorite movies are the “Rocky” movies!

Michael was kind enough to sing his song “Get To You” for the kids, as well as sign autographs for everyone! He also posed for some amazing pictures with the kids, and even let future doctor Amia check his heartbeat!

Thank you so much for visiting us, Michael! We hope you come visit us at Seacrest Studios the next time you find yourself in Boston!

Brett Eldredge Spreads Smiles at Seacrest Studios in Dallas

Eight-year-old Brylie knew she would get to see country superstar Brett Eldredge when he came to Texas on tour, but it went a little different than she planned. See, Brylie and her family had tickets to see Brett and his pals in concert in Dallas but the tour date came when she was hospitalized for a lengthy stay and couldn’t make it out to the concert.

But that’s where the Seacrest Studios at Children’s Medical Center Dallas works its magic. Since the children who are hospitalized can’t make it out to the concert, we bring the concert and events to them, right there in the hospital. So instead of being one in a crowd of thousands, Brylie and other patients at Children’s Health got the VIP fan treatment with Brett Eldredge!

Brylie, along with Zoe, Jaci, Sarah and others got to interview Brett and ask him questions about his music career, his favorite color and what he likes to do with his dog, Edgar. Brett posed for pics and selfies with everyone who came down to see him, and even held one of his littlest fans, 3-month old Paisley.

Before the visit wrapped up, Brett pulled out his guitar and serenaded Seacrest Studios and all those watching on TV from their hospital rooms with his country hit, “Wanna Be That Song.”

Check out the video to watch the fun and laughter with Brett!

Thank you, Brett Eldredge, for making time to hang out in Seacrest Studios! You spread so many smiles, which is something you’re good at! We know you want to come back, “Don’t Ya”? But don’t take “The Long Way” to get back here because when we hear the “Beat of the Music” it makes us “Wanna Be That Song” and I may “Lose My Mind” as if I “Haven’t Met You” when really you will always be our “Superhero” and “The Reason” we want to “Bring You Back.” We know there’s “No Stopping You!”

Dustin Lynch Makes A Special Visit To Seacrest Studios!

Country singer, Dustin Lynch, made a special post-Thanksgiving stop at Seacrest Studios in Charlotte during a concert tour break in the Queen City. Dustin spent time with patients at Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) during the day before he stepped onstage for a late-night performance.

LCH patients were thrilled to get to meet the “Cowboys and Angels” singer who looked every bit the part of a country star – hat, boots, and smile!

Dustin answered questions from patients – why he likes country music and if he ever takes his hat off (he does – it’s too big on the bus).   He told the crowd at Seacrest Studios that he did not cook anything for Thanksgiving because his job was . . . to taste everything!

Dustin’s Charlotte stop was actually a break from his current tour with Keith Urban and Little Big Town. Lynch told LCH fans that he and his group are having “the time of our lives” on the Light The Fuse Tour.

Interestingly, Dustin pipes the tunes of country-music-lover, Justin Timberlake, through his headphones before a big performance to help get pumped up and says, “Shows are like ballgames.”

LCH enjoyed some funny moments when Dustin’s knowledge of holiday songs was put to the test at the microphone.  Then, to everyone’s delight, Lynch picked up his guitar and entertained patients by singing and playing songs that keep running through our heads.

Fans will be happy to know that Dustin started recording his second album on December 2nd! We look forward to hearing more from this artist, and we wait for his return to Seacrest Studios in Charlotte. Thanks, Dustin!
