Happiness Begins With Kevin, Joe, and Nick
Written by studio manager, Mamie Shepherd
Fresh off a win at the VMAs last month, and on a quick break during the Happiness Begins Tour, the Jonas Brothers popped in to a packed house at Seacrest Studios at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital in Nashville. Before taking the stage at Bridgestone Arena, these talented brothers visited patients and played a game on-air to the delight of every fan gathered in the studio.
Joe, Nick, and Kevin were gracious and kind in answering patient questions. “Would you rather visit outer space or under the sea?” “Do you like sports?” The brothers even accepted a challenge from a bed-bound patient upstairs to pat their heads and rub their tummies at the same time!
Just before spending one-on-one time with children and teens, and before autographing pictures, the Jonas Brothers played a hilarious round of Heads-Up....Kazoo Edition. We are still giggling about that fun!
Led by Joe and Kevin, the whole studio happily sang Happy Birthday to Nick in anticipation of his birthday on September 16. It was a special way of saying thank you for his service as an Ambassador for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation!
When asked what makes them smile, the brothers said the patients in the studio and upstairs made them smile. The feeling was mutual on all counts because our patients have been smiling from ear-to-ear ever since this special visit. Thank you again and again, Jonas Brothers, for your kindness and for helping us find happiness during our time in the hospital!
One of the largest crowds we’ve seen lined up outside Seacrest Studios in hopes of getting a glimpse of the famous pop rock band. Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa even kicked-off the visit with a special video message from New York City!
