It was an OUT OF BODY experience for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation when its affiliated Seacrest Studios, in hospitals across the United States, tuned in for a live broadcast with platinum-certified trio, NEEDTOBREATHE! The nationwide event was hosted by Seacrest Studios Nashville at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and included other RSF studios in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Charlotte, Dallas and Orange County.
Fresh off the release of its latest album, Out of Body, NEEDTOBREATHE spilled all the details of its most recent music venture. The album was recorded before COVID restrictions hit the United States.
Band members, Bear Rinehart, Josh Lovelace, and Seth Bolt told patients that most of their songs were written with song titles already in mind. The artists answered patient questions from Nashville about where their favorite city to perform in is, and what they do in their spare time. Seacrest Studios Cincinnati asked about the songwriting process for NEEDTOBREATHE’s hit song, “Something Beautiful,” and if there would be a Vol. 2 of their acoustic album (they are planning on it!). A patient in Charlotte asked if the group’s instruments had names and, much to our surprise, they do!
The group performed its hit song - “Brother” - for patients watching in all 6 hospitals. It was a moment we won’t forget!
Thank you, NEEDTOBREATHE, for being DIFFERENCE MAKERS in the lives of patients and families in all of our Seacrest Studios. Congratulations on the new album! We can’t wait until our next visit with you!
