Jack Black Masters Zoom for Pediatric Patients
Seacrest Studios at Children's Hospital Colorado was excited to host a very special virtual visit from movie star/comedian/musician, Jack Black—and the visit was made even better with patients joining in through Seacrest Studios broadcasts across the country! The call included friends from: Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, CHOC Children’s, Children’s Health, Boston Children’s and Levine Children’s Hospital.
Patients had great questions and learned a TON about Jack, but they especially appreciated his lesser-known video-chat-tech-support skills as he helped patient after patient unmute their computer microphones on the jam-packed video call.
After taking a virtual selfie with everyone, Jack told us his all-time favorite role was in the movie School of Rock, and his best advice for becoming a rock legend was to "practice, practice, practice" and rock out in front of the mirror as if 100,000 people were watching.
Jack left each studio with these wise words, "If you think of something you want to do, just do it right now...that inspiration fades with time. Life is a beautiful, exotic mystery...make each day count."
Thank you, Jack, we can't wait to talk to you again!
