Major Lazer Virtually Meets Patients From Seven Seacrest Studios
Written by Seacrest Studios Media Specialist, Whitney Osborne
Seacrest Studios at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center was excited to welcome EDM group, Major Lazer, virtually into not one but seven studios across the country: Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, DC, Nashville, Philadelphia
Patients came prepared with questions for Walshy Fire and Ape Drums. Maddie, a patient tuning in, wanted to know about the most adventurous thing they have done. Both responded that they are not the type to be overly adventurous, however, Maddie thought they were very brave for wanting to swim in the ocean with Swordfish!
Later in the visit we learned that Ape Drums has always looked up to Major Lazer as a group. Today, he cannot believe he is living his dream working with the people he has always admired. Talk about a full circle moment!
Later in the visit, studio friends in Nashville wanted to know where to start a DJ career, to which Walshy Fire said the best thing to do is create playlists of music you think people will enjoy. Thank you Major Lazer for making all of our days better with your virtual visit on WKID33 - Seacrest Studios Cincinnati!
