A Sweet Treat: Duff Goldman Visits Seacrest Studios
How sweet it was having Food Network Star and Host, Duff Goldman call into Seacrest Studios at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Patients from Boston Children’s Hospital, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt joined the call to ask Duff questions.
Camille from Boston started the visit off by asking Duff about his most memorable dish any kid prepared on Food Network’s Kids Baking Championship. Duff responded by talking about a contestant named Matthew who made an ice cream that tasted exactly like hot dogs!
Derrian from Cincinnati, a big WWE fan with his championship belt and all, knew exactly what kind of cake he wanted Duff to make. Derrian wanted Duff to make a WWE cake, and Duff didn’t disappoint with ideas. Duff mentioned they could fill the cake with apple pie filling so it’s extra messy when they pile drive smash the cake!
Zane from Philadelphia put the icing on our visit by asking Duff what the craziest thing he has ever made was. Duff talked about the time he made a life-size Elephant cake! Duff showed us all pictures of the cake and Zane gave Duff ideas on how he could have presented it!
Duff wrapped up the visit by reminding all of the patients to stay strong, keep their head in the game, and to stay positive because it is the best medicine there is. We can’t thank Duff enough for hanging out with us and bringing so many laughs, smiles, and memories to last a lifetime!
