ACM Lifting Lives Interviews Caylee Hammack In Seacrest Studios
Written by Seacrest Studios Program Manager, Mamie Shepherd
One the best days of the year in Seacrest Studios at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital is when our friends from ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp stop by for a visit! During their week-long music immersion, campers get the full Nashville experience from songwriting to performing at the Grand Ole Opry to a stop in Seacrest Studios! Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt is such a happy place when the ACM campers come to try their hand at interviewing a real celebrity! This year, country singer, and powerhouse voice, Caylee Hammack, sat in the hot seat to answer all the campers’ questions. No topic was off-limits for Caylee - campers asked her everything from how she got started in music, to her hometown in Georgia. The visit ended with a sing-along to Caylee’s hit song, “Family Tree.”
There was so much love and excitement in the studio during this visit that our patients who were watching from their hospital rooms wanted to join the fun too! Our thanks to Caylee Hammack and ACM Lifting Lives. We remain grateful for all the support given to Seacrest Studios and we can’t wait for next year’s camp!
