The band of brothers, AJR, visited Seacrest Studios in Charlotte while in the Queen City on tour with Lindsey Stirling.

Adam, Jack, and Ryan told patients about how they got started as a group – they first performed on the streets in New York! After a chance encounter with singer, Sia, the band found great success. When talking about meeting Sia for the first time, Ryan said, “It really felt like 7 years of flat, no success, and then, ‘boom,’ it all took off! It’s been very cool.”

Their hit single, “I’m Ready,” is now playing on radio stations across the country – including Seacrest Studios! The guys explained the SpongeBob SquarePants reference in the song and how their sound is different from other groups. “Our sound really incorporates a lot of the sounds of the 1950s and 60s, but kind of combines it with newer production.”

We’re ready for the AJR brothers to come back and visit Seacrest Studios any time!
