Platinum-certified singer, and long-time friend of Seacrest Studios, Austin Mahone, spent time with patients at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in October.

The "Say Somethin'" singer rolled up with guitar in hand and talked to patients about his travels (he's been to Japan about 30 times), Halloween, and even his new music - he put out a country album last year! Mahomies who had gathered in the studio were thrilled to hear Austin play an acoustic song he wrote.

While talking about his career, Austin gave big credit to Ryan Seacrest for launching his career: "Ryan was the first person to give me a chance - to give me platform that was bigger than what I had. It was pretty crazy. He invited me to the studio, and I sang some songs and it was great...He's an amazing, super kind-hearted person."

After a round of the Halloween Emoji game, patients learned some interesting facts about Austin - that he once toured with Taylor Swift, that he would NOT spend the night in a haunted house, and that he loves KitKats.

Austin, "Say You're Just a Friend," and promise you will be back to visit Seacrest Studios again soon!
