Cassidy Daniels Inspires Patients at Orlando Health
Cassidy Daniels showed how strong her Backbone was during a virtual visit and performance with patients at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children on Wednesday, January 6th. Daniels is a singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Writing her first song at the young age of seven and being a former Floridian herself patients were able to easily connect with budding star.
The talented songwriter performed four songs that impressed studio Broadcast Coordinator, Anthony Grier, and patients, Joselyn and Annabella, with her powerful vocals. When asked to perform two songs that patients really wanted to hear Daniels simply replied, “I got you!” With the adjustment of her copper Florida Gator capo, she effortlessly strummed her guitar and showed off her deep vocal range to patient's delight.
The visit was full of fun surprises including guest appearances from Daniel's two dogs: Darla and Cain. A fun game of “This or That” was shared between Cassidy and patients, and she shared her love of sweet tea and lobster rolls. Before ending the interview, Daniels shared some great advice on how hard work will pay off. This advice was followed by a powerful performance of her song “Backbone,” which left patients and families with their chins high and a smile on their face!
