Dancing With the Stars Brings the Magic to Seacrest Studios in Memphis

Seacrest Studios at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital was filled with excitement as eight special guests from Dancing with the Stars stopped by for a fun-filled visit. Rylee Arnold, Alan Bersten, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Britt Stewart, Stephen Nedoroscik, Jenna Johnson and Joey Grazadei spent time with patients and families, bringing dance, laughter and unforgettable moments to the studio.

The visit was packed with interactive games, inspiring stories and plenty of dancing. Olympic bronze medal gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik wowed the crowd by demonstrating his pommel horse skills without any equipment. His moves looked just like breakdancing, and he shared how he uses deep breathing techniques to stay calm in high-pressure moments, encouraging patients and families to try the same when they feel anxious.

Joey and Jenna reflected on their big win in Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars and shared what it was like to take home the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. Meanwhile, Ezra got the crowd laughing when he confidently declared that if he could choose any Disney character as his best friend, it would be the Genie from Aladdin. The dancers got everyone moving when Rylee and Ezra demonstrated how to hit the gritty. At first, a patient named Eli was hesitant to show off his own version, but by the end of the show, he found the confidence to take center stage and dance for the crowd, earning cheers from everyone in the studio. Next, the group played a game of “Star or Impos-star?” where patients guessed whether celebrities on the screen had ever competed on Dancing with the Stars. With big star-shaped signs in hand, the patients eagerly participated, showing off their knowledge of the show.

One of the most memorable moments of the visit was a high-energy game of “Wheel o’ Dance.” Two spinning wheels determined a random song and dance style for each pair to perform, leading to some hilarious and impressive routines. Alan and Stephen took on the Baby Shark dance to “Bomboleo” while Season 33 champions Joey and Jenna performed a hip-hop routine to “Party Rock Anthem.” The excitement in the room only grew when a patient named Victor was so inspired by the music and dancing that he jumped in to perform alongside the guests. His enthusiasm was contagious and the entire studio cheered him on as he showed off his dance moves with multiple groups.

The visit ended with photos, autographs and one-on-one time between the guests and patients, ensuring that everyone left with special memories. The Dancing with the Stars crew brought so much energy, kindness and joy to Seacrest Studios, proving that dance has the power to inspire and uplift.

Until next time, keep dancing, Memphis!
