A Great Big World Performs For Patients At Seacrest Studios Philly
Recap Written by Intern: Cailin Vasile
A Great Big World stopped by Seacrest Studios at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to talk about their new album and tour Kaleidoscope. The group is made up of Ian Axel and Chad King, both talented singers and songwriters. The two started their singing career together after meeting at their college, New York University.
Ian said he felt insecure about his own singing voice until he met Chad who convinced him to not "run away from your fears, run at them!" Since then, their inspirations have come from all things positive and colorful, saying "we want to make music that makes people happy." If these two aren't amazing enough, they even performed their hit songs "Say Something" and "This is the New Year" on CHOP's brand new Steinway grand piano! Big thanks to A Great Big World, we hope to see you sing here again!
