Josh Lovelace Moonwalks To Seacrest Studios Nashville!
Written by Seacrest Studios intern, Mimi Ming
A rockstar, a Grammy-nominated artist and a pro at the 5 Second Rule game - what can’t Josh Lovelace do?! Patients were in for a musical treat when NEEDTOBREATHE’S Josh Lovelace visited Seacrest Studios at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville. Josh spent time answering questions and playing games with patients in the studio the day he left to tour with One Republic on the Never Ending 2022 Summer tour.
Josh answered questions about his start in the music industry and how his family played a major role in his musical interests. Patients learned more about Josh’s interests outside of music which include watching baseball and spending time with his wife and children. He discussed his favorite parts of touring like time with his bandmates, playing video games on the tour bus, and traveling across the world.
Josh displayed his talents to the studio audience as he performed a few songs that were mainly centered around his latest Young Folk album, “Moonwalking.” Josh expressed how a life-long appreciation of children’s music influenced him to make music about family, childhood, and youth. Josh intrigued and captivated patients with his musical talents and he even dedicated a song to a patient’s special friend…her favorite toy bear.
Thank you, Josh Lovelace, for bringing an amazing spirit to Seacrest Studios and for radiating such positivity to our patients. We appreciate your spending time with us, and we look forward to your next visit!
