Kane Brown Serenades Patients in Nashville
Written by Seacrest Studios Senior Program Manager, Mamie Shepherd
Patients at Seacrest Studios in Nashville, TN, felt like life was “Grand” when ACM and American Music Award-winner, country superstar, Kane Brown, made a special trip to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt!
This mega-star brought merch and special encouragement bracelets to share with patients and families when he sat down with a studio full of young fans.
During his visit, Kane told the audience that his favorite childhood Disney character was Mulan. He talked about what he does to overcome dark days saying, “I try and find the smallest positive thing that I can – sometimes that will get me out of that hump. I’m a huge video gamer, so I’ll play video games to take my mind off of stuff – find something to distract you to take your mind off anything negative.”
To the delight of the guests in Seacrest Studios, Kane even performed some of his hits! Accompanied by band members, Lars (fiddle) and Jimmie (guitar), Kane sang, “Like I Love Country Music,” and “Lose It.” Our patients felt like VIPs during this exclusive, intimate concert!
Autographs and pictures followed the sit-down interview and performance.
Kane, we love knowing you are one of our “Famous Friends!” Come back and visit again soon!
