Kelsea Ballerini Sings at Seacrest Studios
Kelsea Ballerini brightened everyone’s day when she came to visit Seacrest Studios in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center! Kelsea talked “Frozen” with a patient and led a “Let It Go” sing-a-long! She blushed as she responded to a patient’s question about her current country music crush; revealing it's Sam Hunt. Kelsea exposed that she began songwriting when her parents were going through a divorce. She realized that was the best outlet for her to deal with all of her emotions. Still, today, she uses all of her life events and feelings to write songs. One patient told Kelsea he was just happy to be talking to her, and thought she was really cute! Kelsea responded by saying that he “made her day!” The interview also exposed that Kelsea prefers watermelon Sour Patch Kids to popcorn when going to the movies; she’ll eat a whole pack in one sitting! Kelsea also learned a little about Cincinnati chili, she was amazed when she learned that it contained not only cinnamon, but chocolate as well. We’re not sure if she ate any while visiting, but we’re convinced she will give it a taste if the opportunity arises!
Kelsea proved to be quite the expert at all things Disney when she played “Guess the Silhouette” and “Name That Disney Tune”. She got a perfect score guessing all our favorite Disney characters based on their blacked-out silhouettes and favorite songs! She got an A+ in our book, earning extra credit for singing along to Disney tunes! Kelsea wrapped up her visit by performing her hit single “Love Me Like You Mean It”. She rocked the studio, and we loved every minute of Kelsea Ballerini’s visit. We wish Kelsea luck on her first tour and look forward to hearing more for her!
