Written by: Seacrest Studios, Dallas
Meghan Trainor’s joyful spirit helped pediatric patients around the nation feel “better when they’re dancing” after a virtual visit with Seacrest Studios. Her caring and fun presence brought smiles to dozens of kids as they joked around, answered questions, sang and even busted a move during a virtual dance party!
Patients from Children’s Health in Dallas, as well as three other Seacrest Studios, talked with Meghan about her favorite foods, what inspires her as a singer and learned all about her family. Patient Emeree hosted the virtual visit from the studio in Dallas, helping navigate from patient to patient as they asked Meghan questions from their hospital rooms.
Meghan shared advice about pursuing singing as a career which caught the attention of one patient in particular named Sean. He dreams of being a famous singer like Meghan. After their chat, Sean gave Meghan a taste of his remarkable talent by singing a song for her from his room. Meghan was so impressed, she even offered to show his performance to the artist who wrote the song Sean sang, Charlie Puth himself!
Meghan shared how inspired she is by the bravery and strength of all the patients tuning in, telling them to never give up. From chats about favorite holiday tunes to an encouraging message wrapped with love, Meghan’s passion and care for each and every patient was clear. Thank you for giving up your time to bring so many smiles and holiday cheer to patients all over the nation, Meghan! We will always be cheering you on!
