MKTO Stops By Seacrest Studios While On Tour With Emblem3!
Children’s Medical Center of Dallas was excited to welcome MKTO duo Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller to Seacrest Studios for an interview on the Red Balloon Network. The guys showed off their Nickelodeon cartoon knowledge, weathered the hard-hitting 2-minute Hot Seat, and gave the patients an opportunity to ask a few questions of their own
Malcolm and Tony talked about their early acting careers, which include credits for Tony on Disney’s As the Bell Rings and Malcolm on ABC’s Lost. The musicians met while filming the Nickelodeon series, Gigantic, on which they play the parts of two best friends. Interestingly enough, MKTO are actually best buds in real life as well.
“We’re two best friends that always wanted to just do something that we love, and we were given the opportunity to do it,” Oller said of the group’s recent musical success.
On the heels of the release of their debut album and hit single “Classic,” MKTO is currently touring the country with Emblem3.
Big thanks to MKTO for stopping by the studio and spending time with the patients at Children’s Medical Center.
