Patient Parent Testimonial: "We love Ivan's angels in Seacrest Studios! I had no doubt that Mamie and Cayce would come up with inventive ways to continue to enhance the lives of patients and families! We are so blessed with this team and this hospital! The team also helped Ivan who is stuck at home staying safe and sent him a video! Their outreach extends past the walls of the hospital and their care for patients and families knows no distance! This family appreciates you all!” - Cheyenne Asher
Intern Testimonial: “Well, I’M DONE WITH COLLEGE! I always thought I’d be ecstatic to see this day finally come, but it was made bittersweet due to an amazing internship I had this semester at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. In the hospital, there is a broadcast media center built by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation called Seacrest Studios. We host special guests and events where patients and families can join us in the studio or watch from their rooms on our closed-circuit TV network. I had the privilege of shooting video and assisting in visits from the Jonas Brothers, Lady A, Brett Eldredge, Kyle Busch, a Budweiser Clydesdale, and so many others. I also had the opportunity to interview a couple of our guests on air, which pushed me out of my comfort zone but helped me grow in so many ways. Every day brought something different. My favorite part, however, was seeing the smiles on the faces of patients and families. I owe special thanks to my supervisors Mamie and Cayce, to all of the Child Life staff (especially Bekah, Tori, Mikayla, and Lindsay), to everyone at RSF.” - Victoria Dunlap, Belmont University, Class of 2019
