Singer-Songwriter Tyler Miller Visits Seacrest Studios In Philadelphia
Recap Written by Desiree Zimmer, Seacrest Studios Intern
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia welcomed singer-songwriter-musician and big supporter of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, Tyler Miller, to Seacrest Studios! Tyler fielded questions about his music interests, performed cover songs, wowed audiences with an original piece, and even hosted Bingo! Tyler spoke to everyone about his passion for music and explained that he was singing “Grease Lighting” at only 2 years old! Inspired by his older brother, he began playing the piano over the next few years and he now not only covers popular songs by current artists, but he also writes his own music.
Tyler explained that he now looks up to artists like: Andy Grammer, Ed Sheeran, John Legend, and Bruno Mars. He performed several songs by these artists including “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran and “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars.” He then treated kids and their families to one of his own songs “Just Gotta Let You Know.” Before hosting Bingo and hanging out with patients, Tyler gave advice to aspiring musicians: “Follow your dreams. If you put your mind you it you can accomplish it.” Thank you, Tyler, for your special visit!
