Skai Jackson Talks Disney Princesses at CHOC Children's

Earlier this week, Seacrest Studios at CHOC Children’s was delighted to welcome a virtual visit from actress, YouTuber and author - Skai Jackson! In 2016, Skai was included in Time’s list of Most Influential Teens. In 2020, she put smiles on so many faces as she answered all our questions about her Disney career, her roles on Jessie, Bunk’d and much more!

The visit started with everyone sharing their favorite Disney princess. Skai immediately knew her answer, “Princess Tiana!” She said. “She’s always been my favorite.” April and Skai bonded over their shared adoration for Princess Tiana, and the building excitement for the new Princess and the Frog ride being built at Disneyland!

Sofia joined the call wanting to know the ins and outs of filming on a TV set. Skai gave us the details, saying she works really hard on set and enjoys working with all her co-stars. Between scenes, Skai said the cast like to joke around before they have to be professional on camera again.

Sophia also called in to talk to Skai and wanted to know, “Do you like doing your homework?” Skai answered the question with the utmost sincerity, saying, “Not at all times! But it’s important to do your homework.” To all the patients tuned in, Skai explained that doing her homework in school is what helped her get into college!
