The Cast Of Disney Channel's "Bunk'd" Visits CHOC

Seacrest Studios at Children’s Hospital of Orange County was beyond excited to have the cast of Bunk’d on site to share some love and positivity with our patients and families. The cast included Shelby Simmons (Ava), Israel Johnson (Noah), Miranda May (Lou), Scarlett Estevez (Gwen), Raphael Alejandro (Matteo), and Will Buie Jr. (Finn). From the moment they entered the studio the cast was able to seamlessly and effortlessly interact with the patients making them feel at ease while playing Nintendo switch and of course a fun game of Operation! In fact, they were having so much fun it was difficult to get them all at the studio desk for a group interview.

After finally getting Will and Israel away from the Nintendo switch it was the patients turn to ask the cast some of their burning questions about season 4. Miranda May did a great job of answering some tricky questions about last season's cast and the introduction of three new cast members this season. She also of course taught everyone how to do the woodchuck salute. Did you know that she made up the salute while on a casting call for the first season?!

After finishing the cast was in no rush to leave and went straight back to playing and hanging out with our patients and families. Miranda and Israel even had time to visit two patients upstairs who were not able to leave their rooms, what a treat! After finishing up some final autographs and photos it was time for the cast of Bunk’d to return to summer camp. While it was sad to see them go we know that the impact they made at Seacrest Studios at CHOC will last for quite some time.
