WWE Superstars Bayley & Austin Theory make friends with Boston Children’s patients!
During Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, WWE superstars Bayley & Austin Theory dropped by Seacrest Studios to meet patient superstars. By joining in-person in the studio or by watching their hospital TV, patients & families had the opportunity to meet & interview their favorite wrestlers… and, in some cases, their least favorite wrestlers.
When Austin Theory first entered the studio to his walk-up music, the crowd of patients & families cheered and Austin went in for high fives all around. However, when it was patient Sophina’s turn, she didn’t move. “I’m here to see Bayley,” she said, leaving Austin’s high five hanging. Ouch! It was all in good fun though!
Bayley and Austin Theory had our patients laughing and joking (and smack-talking) while they answered questions about when they first started wrestling, who can do the best Joker impression, and more! The visit concluded with a meet & greet where kids could grab an autograph or photo with the superstars. Patients were also given toy title belts, generously donated by WWE. Our patients were already champions, but it is nice to have a belt to prove it!
This was a day that BCH patients and WWE superstars alike will not forget! Thank you, Bayley & Austin Theory!
