From glitter bombs, and elephant toothpaste, to obstacle courses for squirrels, new friend to Seacrest Studios, Mark Rober, has done it all! Mark made a special call to the very excited patients at four different Seacrest Studios across the country hosted by Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Mark answered questions from patients and fans in Music City, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Orlando!
Patients who had been waiting to talk to Mark were beyond excited to see the science guru, and hear his take on everything from how to grow their YouTube channels to what he really thinks about the possibility of extraterrestrial life. One patient even demonstrated Mark’s elephant toothpaste experiment from right in her hospital room!
Rober told the audience in all four children’s hospitals that his videos take a long time to make and they require a lot of planning. He even gave Seacrest Studios a spoiler alert on some of his upcoming videos – you are definitely going to want to stay tuned to his YouTube channel!
After being asked about going to space, Mark said that it is something he is planning on doing in the next few years. Until he takes to the skies, he is working here on Earth on a big project with Mr. Beast to preserve the environment.
What an incredible experience it was to talk, screen-to-screen, with such an adored YouTuber!
Thank you, Mark, for inspiring our patients, and for encouraging a love of science in all of us. We look forward to your next visit, and we can’t wait to see what you do next!
